Cloud Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our team at MHP Romania. As a Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall Azure cloud architecture, as well as strategically developing and ensuring the scalability and security of the infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing the overall Azure cloud architecture
• Strategically developing and ensuring the scalability and security of the infrastructure
• Providing strategic consulting and contributing to the further development of the cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure
• Operating a Cloud Operations Centre for the Azure tenant
• Supporting the organization of the Cloud Operation Center
• Contributing to the design of IT processes within the ITSM framework
• Creating framework guidelines and documents for Azure cloud operations and project business
• Designing, implementing, and maintaining concepts and structures for automating infrastructure processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) or Azure Resource Manager
• Developing and implementing security and backup concepts in the cloud
• Providing technical leadership for migrations and cloud projects in collaboration with other IT departments and external partners
• Mentoring and supporting Associate and Junior employees in the Cloud Team, as well as approving critical changes
• Supporting the Cloud Centre of Excellence and strategic decisions with technical expertise

Requirements:

• In-depth experience with Microsoft Azure, particularly in Virtual Networks, Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, and Azure Monitor
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), especially with tools such as Terraform and Azure Resource Manager (ARM)
• Extensive knowledge of Azure-specific backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Experience with cloud security frameworks and best practices, e.g., Azure Policy, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and network security mechanisms
• Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or comparable qualifications
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Strategic thinking, ownership, and accountability
