Assistant Game Designer - NHL

Electronic Arts is seeking a creative writing talent to work with our production and design team on creating narrative content for our players. As an Assistant Game Designer - NHL, you will work on the EA SPORTS NHL franchise, which has revolutionized sports gaming for tens of millions of players around the world.

Your responsibilities include:

• Setting up live content for World of Chel live service release plan
• Coordinating and assisting with data entry verification
• Providing feedback and input on live service plans and schedules
• Connecting and understanding data and analytics connected to the World of Chel live service plan
• Identifying potential live service opportunities
• Supporting live launches
• Creating writing content related to live service content
• Working with NHL producers to understand targets and priority changes
• Communicating progress and quality with the NHL team
• Managing dependencies and coordinating deliverables across teams

Requirements:

• 1+ years background in game design and/or production with relevant experience working on a live service with tight deadlines
• Passion for and deep understanding of Hockey
• Good knowledge of the EA SPORTS NHL franchise
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledgeable in the game of hockey and leagues around the world
• Keen eye for small details and live changes to the real hockey world
• Ability to work both in a constructive team setting and autonomously on individual projects
