Description
We're seeking an Associate Infrastructure Engineer to enhance the reliability and stability of Webflow's customer-facing production infrastructure, serving millions of page views per hour. You will empower engineers on other teams, optimise resource allocation, and collaborate on internal best practices for observability.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain monitoring tooling and collaborate on internal best practices for observability to empower engineers on other teams.
- Optimise resource allocation, streamline upgrade processes, and ensure scalability and fault tolerance to enhance reliability of applications running in Kubernetes.
- Dive into the main Webflow application in Node, Python, or Go to discern and fix behaviour in production.
- Collaborate with peers on Webflow's Customer Support, Partnerships, and Sales teams to enable customers using Webflow's services in production.
- Participate in and continuously improve on-call and incident response processes.
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- Background as an ops engineer with growing interest in code, or a software engineer background with growing interest in systems and infrastructure.
- 2+ years of experience operating or debugging distributed systems in a production environment.
- Comfortable working in at least one major cloud provider (AWS or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes workloads and ideally exposure to GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Argo Rollouts.
- Experience with observability stacks (e.g., Datadog, OpenTelemetry) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, Ansible).
- Ability to read and modify application code to help debug issues.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation and follow incident management processes.

Salary:
- United States: $158,300 - $190,000 per year (Zone A), $148,300 - $178,000 per year (Zone B), $140,000 - $168,000 per year (Zone C)
- Canada (ON & BC): $173,000 - $207,000 per year
