We are seeking a Manufacturing Associate II to contribute to meaningful work in our local manufacturing plants. The role involves assembling and supporting medical device manufacturing processes, quality control, and training for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Integrate circuit boards, wiring harnesses, units, and mechanical assemblies using tooling equipment in an FDA-regulated facility.
- Apply knowledge of statistical process control (SPC), good manufacturing practices (GMP), traceability, and material review board (MRB).
- Perform automated testing and other requirements with minimal direction.
- Interact with leads, supervisors, engineers, and coworkers to enhance teamwork and resolve line issues.
- Support production or quality control inspections.
- Provide guidance to new trainees and assemblers on complicated aspects of assembly work.
- Perform Quality Control measurements and functions, and support new product builds and testing.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in medical device assembly or technical assembly.
- Understanding of or ability to quickly learn Bayer's quality systems policies.
- Ability to perform technical writing and adapt to fast-paced changing situations.
- Proven sound judgment, continuous improvement, and customer focus.
- Demonstrated adaptability and teamwork skills.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and visual work instructions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree.
- Ability to perform all major tasks and at least 50% of all operations within the Bayer manufacturing cells/lines with no assistance.
