Description
As a Global Logistics Senior Manager at 3M, you will lead global customer logistics strategy, product flow optimization, and logistics transformation initiatives across regions, businesses, and functions.
The role requires strong partnership with Business Supply Chain, Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement, IT, Finance, Trade Compliance, Customer Operations, regional logistics teams, and external partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the global customer logistics organization and roadmap to improve service, reduce cost, simplify flows, and strengthen end-to-end product movement
- Defining and governing preferred physical product flow paths from source to customer
- Partnering with Business Supply Chain, Portfolio, Planning, Customer Operations, Manufacturing, IT, Finance, and regional teams to align logistics strategy with business priorities
- Leading global logistics optimization programs, including network design, export flow optimization, direct shipping, consolidation, inbound logistics, and load factor improvement
- Overseeing major productivity initiatives across transportation, 3PL excellence, broker operations, trade compliance operations analytics, and control tower performance monitoring
- Building and deploying global logistics industrial engineering capabilities
- Establishing governance, SOPs, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools for product flow accuracy, transit time, master data, performance monitoring, and exception management
- Driving savings delivery and value realization across a global portfolio of logistics transformation projects
- Providing coordination and escalation support for cross-regional, cross-functional, and system-related logistics issues
- Developing and leading a high-performing global team of logistics managers, industrial engineers, analysts, specialists, and project leaders
The expected compensation range for this position is $221,591 - $270,834, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay.
