Senior Systems Engineer (Identity and Access)

Flexport IT is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Identity & Access) to design, implement, and administer Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. As our resident Okta expert and high-level IT generalist, you will oversee our SaaS ecosystem and endpoint management infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain IAM platforms
• Administer Okta, directory services, MFA, and password management
• Manage core collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira
• Oversee global Mac and Windows device management using Jamf and Intune
• Build automated workflows for provisioning and deprovisioning
• Establish role-based access control and entitlement reviews
• Lead SSO integration for new SaaS applications
• Collaborate with the Security team to embed security best practices
• Author technical procedures, roadmaps, and compliance policies
• Provide high-tier technical leadership and escalation support

Requirements:

• 5+ years of IAM systems engineering experience
• Deep Okta expertise
• Strong knowledge of IAM standards like SAML, SCIM, OAuth, and LDAP
• Experience with scripting and Okta Workflows
• Proven track record managing Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Jamf, and Intune
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Compliance-first attitude
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

The US base salary range for this position is $130,000-$170,000 USD.
