Analytics Intern

As an Analytics Intern at Electronic Arts, you will use data to optimize gameplay systems that power world-class EA SPORTS titles like Madden NFL, directly influencing the experiences of millions of players worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse gameplay and player behaviour data across Madden and College Football EA SPORTS franchises.
• Use SQL, Python, R, or similar tools to test hypotheses and identify behaviours associated with retention and engagement.
• Build a meaningful analytical project from problem definition through final presentation with support from the analytics team.
• Use game knowledge to propose and build novel analyses.
• Translate complex analyses into clear findings for fellow Analysts, Product Managers, and Game Designers.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL and familiarity with Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
• Awareness of modern modelling techniques and statistical applications.
• Passion for gaming; familiarity with Madden, College Football, American football, or sports games.
