Trainer- Delta Line - 3rd Shift

We are seeking a talented Trainer – Delta Line -3rd Shift to join our Manufacturing team at Cummins Inc. in Ladson, SC.

In this role, you will champion a proactive safety culture by stopping work when hazards arise, reporting incidents immediately, using proper PPE, and promoting an interdependent environment where everyone looks out for one another.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Protecting people and the environment by correcting hazards within your control, recognizing environmental impacts, and actively engaging in HSE training.
• Elevating quality through disciplined execution by following SPC, poka yoke, visual standards, and process documentation.
• Ensuring product integrity by performing accurate inspections, identifying non-conforming material, and taking action to protect downstream processes and customer expectations.
• Delivering high-precision manufacturing results by independently operating equipment, machining and assembling components to exact specifications.
• Developing and supporting others by instructing and coaching less experienced team members.
• Improving equipment reliability and flow by performing operator care tasks, maintaining a clean work area, and collaborating with skilled trades.
• Driving continuous improvement with your team by communicating effectively and actively participating in initiatives that enhance safety, quality, material flow, and employee development.

Requirements include:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
• Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
• Lead training experience, including providing on-the-job training and assessing learner progress.
• Ability to monitor and maintain electronic login system information and participate in continuous improvement activities.
