Actuarial Specialist

Manulife is looking for an Actuarial Specialist to support its diversified and ongoing Actuarial team in the HK & Macau office.

Position Responsibilities:

• Participate in and assist with a wide range of financial optimization initiatives on both in-force and new business portfolios, including par management, reinsurance, investment, policy review, and modelling enhancement.
• Enhance pricing and valuation models.
• Support regular experience monitoring on policyholder behaviours and claims.
• Support in-force management on initiatives to improve KPIs related to persistency, medical claims, etc.
• Enhance the process of tracking experience and analysis to identify risks timely.
• Perform root cause analysis on identified risks to connect experience trends to drivers.

Required Qualifications:

• University degree holder in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields, with progress in actuarial examinations of an internationally recognized actuarial organization.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with demanding deadlines.
