Description
Howden Re is seeking a US Facultative Reinsurance Broker to join their growing US Facultative business team. The successful candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and be responsible for developing new production opportunities and solutions for new and existing clients across North America.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop new production opportunities and solutions for new and existing clients across North America
- Lead the placement of US Property facultative reinsurance risks with domestic and international reinsurers
- Develop renewal and placement strategies that meet client objectives
- Support, mentor and develop junior broking colleagues
- Establish renewal strategy and execution plans
- Work in tandem with all Howden Re resources to deliver effective client service
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a business-related position & environment
- Desire and interest to pursue an opportunity that involves client-related tasks
- Strong time management skills and project management skills
- Detail-oriented
- Highly motivated and committed to continually developing your professional skillset
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
The expected annual salary for this role is $220,000-300,000; actual salary will be determined based on factors including candidate experience and work location.
