As a Compliance Pharmacy Technician at Omnicare, a CVS Health Company, you will play a crucial role in maintaining workflow in the department, monitoring productivity and performance, and ensuring compliance with all Omnicare, State and Federal guidelines.
Day in the Life:
As a Front End Compliance Technician, you will work to maintain workflow in the department, monitor productivity and performance, and ensure compliance with all Omnicare, State and Federal guidelines. Our front-end team is focused on entering in orders, working alongside the pharmacist to ensure accuracy, and providing best in customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate and verify correct dosages based on prescriptions
- Assist in reviewing narcotic prescriptions to ensure timely returns
- Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other flagged items
- Create and maintain accurate customer records
- Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and required information/response
Requirements:
- Certification/licensure as a pharmacy technician or as required by state law
- One (1) year or more of pharmacy technician experience
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in the long-term care industry
- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician
- PTCB National Certification
- Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical or customer service setting

Pay Range:
$17.00 - $25.65 per hour
