Description
As an LGV 2 Driver with Biffa Waste Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness of local environments and communities. You will be part of a single-person crew, operating various LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, to collect and empty bins from trade waste customers.
This role offers a competitive hourly rate of £16.86, with shifts running from Monday to Friday, starting at 04:30 am. In return for your hard work, you will receive:

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A valid LGV/HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- A valid Driver CPC/Driver Qualification Card
- A good understanding of road safety and vehicle safety
- The ability to complete daily vehicle checks and report defects
- Good knowledge of drivers' hours and tachograph requirements
- The ability to safely manoeuvre and operate a large rigid vehicle
- Good communication and customer service skills
- A good awareness of health and safety procedures
