As a Pharmacy Manager Emerging Leader (PMEL) at CVS Health, you'll play a critical role in cultivating a culture of excellence in your pharmacy by acting as a role model for all, demonstrating genuine care, and setting the bar for the pharmacy team, while developing your own leadership skills in preparation for increasing responsibility.
You'll build upon your skills and responsibilities as a Staff or District Support Pharmacist and develop additional competencies to become ready for a Pharmacy Manager (PM) role. You'll complete a self-paced, collaborative training roadmap with both virtual and hands-on learning experiences to prepare you to lead a pharmacy independently.
Responsibilities:
- Live our purpose by helping to manage and improve patient health through safe and appropriate dispensing, counseling, and immunizing practices
- Take direction from the Pharmacy Manager and oversee the pharmacy as their proxy during bench shifts without overlap
- Assume Pharmacy Manager's day-to-day duties when serving as the only or primary pharmacist-on-duty
- Support safe and accurate prescription fulfillment by following,and directing the pharmacy team to follow,pharmacy workflow procedures and utilizing safety guardrails at every workstation
- Contribute to positive patient experiences by showing empathy and genuine care, and coaching the pharmacy team to do the same
- Proactively offer and deliver immunizations to keep patients healthy
- Support the effective management of pharmacy inventory by following,and coaching the pharmacy team to follow,all inventory best practices
- Partner with the Pharmacy Manager to ensure pharmacy operations are fully compliant with state Board of Pharmacy regulations
- Remain flexible for both scheduling and business needs, while contributing to a safe, inclusive, and engaging team dynamic
Requirements:
- 6+ months of experience as a Staff or District Support Pharmacist
- Active Pharmacist License in the state where the Store is located
- Active National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Not on the DEA Excluded Parties list

Salary Range: $65.00 - $81.00
