Description
WSP is seeking a Senior Road Engineer to Associate to join the Roads team in Scotland. The successful candidate will work on the Performance Audit Group (PAG), providing advice on technical and operational issues related to winter maintenance works and services associated with the roads network.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing, analysing, and advising on technical specifications and standards associated with winter maintenance operations
- Advising on regulatory compliance, standards, and best practice in contract development and management
- Understanding and being conversant with relevant parts of Supplier contracts
- Producing reports on the delivery and effectiveness of Suppliers' works and services
Requirements:
- Chartered professional relevant to the role
- Comprehensive experience of technical specifications, standards, and legislation associated with winter maintenance works
- Demonstrable knowledge of technical specifications, standards, and legislation
- Moderate experience of contract development
