Art Director - Create

Electronic Arts is looking for an Art Director to join their Create team in Shanghai, China.

As an Art Director, you will help Create engage with one of their key franchise partners and be accountable for the quality of the content and partnership. You will work closely with the team to brainstorm and pitch the direction, prove the concept, and execute on the delivery. You will also communicate closely with external franchise leadership and ADs to ensure alignment with the right direction and keep traction of the changes.

Responsibilities:

• Help Create engage with key franchise partners and be accountable for content quality and partnership
• Brainstorm and pitch direction, prove concept, and execute delivery with the team
• Communicate with external franchise leadership and ADs to ensure alignment
• Report to Create Head of Creative

Requirements:

• Solid experience in game art and development, with multiple game titles shipped as an art director
• Experience in map creation, collaborating with multiple domains, and achieving common targets
• Strong storytelling capability under a consistent visual language
• Fluent English skills, with ability to run art presentations to internal and external teams
• 10+ years in game industry, 5+ years in senior roles (AD or Lead)
• Team leadership experience, preferably with people manager experience
