The successful candidate will operate at the center of EA's most important strategic questions, helping leadership understand what is changing in the world, what it means for EA, and how the company should respond.

Responsibilities:

Team Operations and Leadership Partnership

  • Serve as the primary operating partner to the Vice President of Strategy, ensuring alignment of priorities, messaging, and operating cadence across the function.
  • Partner with the Vice President to define and steward the Strategy Team's mission, vision, and values, translating them into clear goals and a shared sense of what the team is known for across EA.
  • Own the goals process across the team, ensuring individual and sub-team goals ladder up to the function's commitments, and build the tracking and measurement to hold them.
  • Own the operating rhythm of the Strategy Team, including leadership team meetings, all-hands sessions, offsites, and knowledge-sharing forums.
  • Own budget, headcount, and financial planning for the Strategy Team, ensuring visibility and representation in the right corporate forums.
  • Partner with the Vice President and People Experience on team development, including development pathways, performance criteria, onboarding of new team members, and measurement of team health.
  • Steward Strategy Team communications, including team updates, leadership messages, and internal alignment materials.
  • Act as a connective and energizing presence across the team, bringing people together and building a collaborative, high-performing culture.
  • Support the preparation and orchestration of executive meetings and senior leadership forums, ensuring materials are cohesive, strategically grounded, and decision-oriented.

Priority Initiatives

  • Own and drive high-priority strategic initiatives end-to-end, operating as a hands-on individual contributor on complex, sensitive analyses and as a coordinator of cross-functional efforts.
  • Lead workstreams spanning corporate strategy evolution, portfolio and adjacency assessments, M&A-related strategic diligence, partnership strategy, and executive-level materials.
  • Synthesize complex inputs into clear, compelling narratives and decision frameworks for senior leadership, enabling informed decision-making in fast-moving contexts.
  • Mobilize and coordinate Strategy, Finance, Corporate Development, and business unit stakeholders to deliver integrated, leadership-ready outputs.
  • Represent the Strategy Team across enterprise planning processes and cross-functional forums, partnering closely with Finance and other corporate teams on portfolio-level trade-offs and long-range planning.
  • Partner with Communications to translate strategy into clear internal and external narratives, and support executive communications and speaking engagements.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, corporate development, or a related field.
  • Track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives from framing through to outcome in dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills, including financial modeling, scenario planning, and market analysis.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distill complexity into clear, decision-oriented narratives.
  • Experience preparing executive-level materials and supporting senior leadership in high-visibility settings.
  • Genuine operational instinct.
  • High judgment, discretion, and maturity.
  • A collaborative, energizing presence.
  • Passion for interactive entertainment, innovation, and building enduring franchises that resonate with players and fans worldwide.
