Description
As a Customer Manager at Asda, you will be the main ambassador for bringing the 'Asdaness' in every colleague and lead the store's service, ensuring customers have the best experience through Service, Back Office, Security, and Cleaning Teams.
You will be the eyes and ears of our customers, acting on feedback and holding regular customer listening groups while liaising with external partners to ensure they're meeting standards and expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive strategy into action: Constant presence on the shopfloor, walking through the eyes of customers, validating the value message, and ensuring great availability standards and key metrics.
- Lead with impact: Engage and coach your team to improve routine and process, creating a culture of selling with personality and serving customers with heart and pride.
- Results-focused: Challenge teams to investigate and resolve price discrepancies at pace, and react to customer feedback to create effective action plans.
- Talent Development: Listen with empathy, drive resilience, and encourage ownership and passion for the business.
Requirements:
- Experience as Team Leader, Supervisor, or Manager in a retail environment.
- Operational knowledge of retail environment and customer service.
- Experience developing teams and managing change through leadership and building resilience.
- Strong customer service focus and positive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings.
