Description
We are seeking a Porter to join our team at Lincoln Private Hospital, part of Circle Health Group. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week with a fixed term contract for 12 months.
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of general and ad hoc tasks on a day-to-day basis, including:
- Moving patients, equipment, and goods around the hospital
- Explaining hospital facilities and services to patients and family members
- Providing a courteous service to internal and external customers
- Ensuring patient comfort and dignity are always maintained
- Providing security for the facility as required
- Complying with all relevant mandatory training
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Frontline customer-facing experience
- Previous portering experience in a healthcare, hotel, or hospitality setting (beneficial)
- Maths and English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2
- Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software and systems
