The EA SPORTS UFC franchise offers an electrifying spectacle and entertainment of MMA for over 20 million players across the globe. As a UI Software Engineer, you will work with the EA SPORTS UFC team in Vancouver, British Columbia, to maintain and extend existing User Interfaces.
Main Responsibilities
- Maintain existing UI.
- Collaborate to implement new features.
- Test, debug, and verify work to ensure performance, stability, and quality targets are met.
Required Technical Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
- 1-3 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the games industry or areas where performant user interfaces are used.
- 1+ years of experience in object-oriented design and implementation.
- Demonstrated knowledge of good software engineering practices.
- Basic knowledge of C++.
- Comfortable with scripting languages such as Python or LUA.
Additional Skills
- Actionscript / Flash.
- Experience in Unreal or Unity.
- Experience in a Client/Server environment.
- Experience in version control tools (Perforce, Git).
- Proven track record of,or strong affinity for,integrating emerging AI technologies into development or creative pipelines to drive innovation and efficiency.
Soft Skills
- Experience communicating updates in a small diverse team.
- Experience writing clean, concise code with comments.
- A love of making games that look and play great!
