Applied AI Architect, Security Specialist

Anthropic's Applied AI team helps large organisations implement Claude, their AI system. As a Cybersecurity Specialist on Applied AI, you'll work with enterprise account teams to bring deep security expertise to key accounts.

You'll identify where Claude can perform meaningful security work, develop technical plans and business cases, and guide customers from pilots to production workloads.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with account teams to understand customer security programs and identify opportunities for Claude
• Serve as security-domain technical advisor on strategic enterprise accounts
• Help customers transition from one-time code scanning to sustained security workloads
• Build and maintain reference implementations and evaluation approaches
• Conduct workshops and hands-on sessions with customer security teams
• Equip partners to deliver Claude-powered security outcomes
• Communicate effectively with various audiences, from appsec engineers to CISOs and executives
• Define and track adoption depth for security workloads and work with Product and Engineering on telemetry
• Develop playbooks and best practices for the field
• Stay current with frontier LLM capabilities and emerging vulnerabilities
• Travel occasionally for workshops and technical deep dives

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in security roles
• Hands-on depth in at least two of: application security, offensive security, detection and response, or threat intelligence
• Experience in a technical customer-facing role or on a security team
• Ability to translate between security teams, engineering teams, and executives
• Comfort with Python, CI/CD, and cloud environments
• Experience using LLMs for security work
• Collaborative approach to working across teams

The annual compensation range for this role is $300,000-$400,000 USD.
