Elementary Teacher (Kindergarten)

We are seeking an Elementary Teacher for our Kindergarten program at High Tech Elementary Mesa Campus. As a teacher at High Tech High, you will design learning experiences that reflect our design principles of equity, personalization, authentic work, and collaborative design. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

Responsibilities:

• Create daily lesson plans with project-based assignments that are engaging, educational, and exciting for students
• Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning experiences
• Incorporate goals, competencies, and objectives into lesson plans that directly apply to students' lives
• Achieve school and course-wide performance goals for every student in class
• Grade assignments and homework regularly to keep students updated on their progress
• Identify students who are struggling with learning, emotional problems, or situations at home, and find them the resources they need

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Valid California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential or out-of-state teaching license
• Ability to efficiently and effectively manage time
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional administrative and organization skills
• Proficient knowledge of teaching strategies and methods
