Description

Blackstone seeks to deliver compelling returns for institutional and individual investors by strengthening the companies in which the firm invests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the acquisitions, asset management and capital market teams across Real Estate, Private Equity and Tactical Opportunities Funds on deal execution support, deal onboarding, and post-closing deal management of portfolio companies and JV partners
  • Assist in the engagement with due diligence advisors and review of due diligence reports, findings and recommendations
  • Review transaction and financing documents for acquisition, disposition and financing activities
  • Manage the establishment of Investment Structures and prepare funds flow files for deal closing
  • Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting processes of portfolios
  • Work closely with various teams across Asia and New York on funding coordination
  • Liaise and coordinate on audits with service providers and auditors
  • Ad hoc tasks, analyses and projects as required

Skills:

  • Chartered Accountant with 5 to 6 years of experience, ideally including time in a Big Four accounting firm or financial institution
  • Experience with transactions advisory/execution support is highly regarded
  • Experience in the funds, asset management or private equity industries a pre-requisite
  • Regional Asia-Pacific experience is highly regarded
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with fast and exact data processing skills
  • Effective communication across various functions and offices globally
  • Highly professional/institutional and self-motivated with strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking skills, and able to multitask and deliver under tight deadlines
