Physical Therapist Assistant - Skilled Nursing / Home Health

Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the United States, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team in Grand Island and Hastings. The successful candidate will work full-time, 35-40 hours per week, assisting patients with therapy activities and exercises under the supervision of a physical therapist.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide, monitor, and record therapy services to patients with physical, cognitive, and developmental impairments. Responsibilities include:

• Selecting, implementing, and modifying therapeutic activities and interventions
• Exchanging information with and providing documentation to the physical therapist
• Contributing to the development of treatment plans
• Following accepted clinical practice guidelines

Requirements:

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure
• Graduate of an approved American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) program as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• Licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state(s) of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within six months of employment

Benefits:
