Description
At Ford Motor Company, you will help transform the future for customers, communities, and families. As a Launch Engineer at the Ohio Assembly Plant, you will play a crucial role in delivering new model vehicle launches on time, on cost, and at targeted quality levels.
Responsibilities:
- Manage launch parts and processes, including creating and maintaining an Open to Go (OTG) parts list, reviewing the Bill of Materials (BOM) for errors, and auditing for deformas
- Communicate program changes to the launch team, launch coordinators, and PSG team
- Prepare the plant launch team by identifying and resolving workstation needs, reviewing vehicle specifications, and developing a build schedule
- Participate in builds, including attending pre-production builds, verifying parts presence, and documenting issues
- Work with Ford systems, including CMMS, LQOS, OTG, QLS, and WERS
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (BS) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 2-3 years of automotive experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel

Salary: The salary range for this position is $86,600-$144,900 or $99,100-$166,200, depending on the salary grade.
