Description
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Sainsbury's Supermarkets Ltd, you will be responsible for delivering customer orders to their doorsteps. You will drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van, complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, and communicate with customers to provide excellent service.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver customer orders on time and in great condition
- Drive a 3.5 tonne refrigerated van safely in various locations
- Complete checks to ensure the van is roadworthy, clean, and organised
- Communicate with customers to provide excellent service
- Move containers weighing up to 15kg and deliver shopping to various properties
Requirements:
- Friendly and welcoming with a genuine enthusiasm for helping customers
- Comfortable driving a larger vehicle safely in different locations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical, and high-energy environment
- Able to use initiative, solve problems, and make safe decisions while out on the road
- Flexible and willing to work across the store and take on new challenges
