Daytime Supervisor

The Daytime Supervisor plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, orderly, and positive environment during lunch and recess periods at High Tech Elementary North County. This position involves supervising students, enforcing school policies, and providing support as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch and recess to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Address and resolve minor conflicts and behavioral issues among students fairly and consistently.
• Ensure students adhere to safety guidelines and procedures.
• Provide assistance to students as needed, including helping with lunch containers and supporting in case of minor accidents.
• Enforce school policies and report significant issues or incidents to the appropriate school staff.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to coordinate activities and address concerns related to student behavior or safety.
• Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and parents as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience working with children in a school or recreational setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage and supervise groups of children effectively.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude towards working with students.
• Ability to handle minor conflicts and emergencies calmly and professionally.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and assist with minor physical tasks.

This is an hourly position with a salary range of USD 20.6-25.11 per hour. The position does not qualify for benefits.
