Description
We are seeking a Product Manager to drive the broad activities of the product team within BlackRock CCB Wealth Management Limited (WMC). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and articulating strategic plans relating to existing and future products, taking into consideration client, industry, market, regulatory, and technology trends.
Responsibilities Include
- Establishing operational procedures and governance pertaining to the launch and ongoing management of all Wealth Management Products on offer within WMC
- Conducting studies on the local industry landscape, competitor research, and client/market trends
- Working with the team to design and articulate product priorities, new ideas business cases, and longer-term product strategy, including critical gap analysis
- Supporting the product design and structuring process, managing the product approvals process, and overseeing the end-to-end implementation process
- Maintaining existing products, working with numerous stakeholders to reposition products for the purpose of enhancing commercial performance, or eliminating products, as appropriate
- Partnering with Legal teams to create and maintain offering documentation
- Supporting the maintenance and evolution of the product governance framework
- Creating and maintaining key reference documents related to new product ideas and existing product suite
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience in financial services, preferably in asset/fund management
- Strong understanding and prior exposure to the China mutual fund and wealth management industry
- Experience in facing/dealing with regulators and retail/institutional clients
- Charted Financial Analyst (or working towards) or comparable qualification is a plus
Skills
- Native/exceptional in Chinese (Mandarin, simplified) and fluency in English is a plus
- Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and constraints
- Strong analytical abilities, including attention to detail and affinity for data analysis
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to coordinate across multiple functions, geographies, and senior stakeholders across the firm
