Description
Syneos Health is seeking a Clinical Scientist - Respiratory to join their team.
The successful candidate will work with the Medical Director to develop medical plans, engage with outside experts, and perform medical reviews of data listings and visualizations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing medical plans, including Medical Management Plans, Medical Data Review Plans, and Eligibility Review Plans
- Collaborating with outside experts to acquire necessary medical and scientific input
- Performing regular and ad-hoc medical reviews of data listings and visualizations
- Analyzing data to identify risks and data patterns/trends
- Authoring medical data queries and reviewing query responses
- Approving query closure in association with the Medical Director
- Assisting the Medical Director in patient profile reviews and scientific reviews of study-level data
- Partnering with Medical Directors for medical data review meetings and safety review meetings
- Managing project scope, objectives, and quality of deliverables
- Collaborating with study team members to identify risks related to data integrity and subject safety
- Attending Trusted Process meetings and participating in internal and external audits
- Acquiring basic understanding and knowledge of ongoing protocol designs and disease-related terminology and pathology
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of clinical trials, medical data review, and regulatory guidelines.
