Retail Store Manager (Barton Creek Square)

Squishable is looking for a Retail Store Manager to oversee daily store operations at Barton Creek Square in Austin, Texas.

What does a Squishable Store Manager do?

The Store Manager oversees daily store operations, is accountable for sales performance, the store team, and standards. Responsibilities include:

• Leading, motivating, and developing the store team, including hiring, onboarding, and ongoing training
• Setting and executing business strategies for the store in partnership with the Regional Manager
• Opening and closing the store and taking responsibility for accurate day-start and day-end cash handling
• Ensuring accurate inventory levels and punctual restocking of merchandise on the floor
• Maintaining a high standard of merchandise presentation
• Maintaining enthusiasm and motivation in the store, and ensuring a fun and memorable environment
• Supporting all types of POS transactions and customer inquiries
• Adhering to all company policies, practices, and safety standards

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of retail management experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
• 2–5 years of customer service experience
• Exceptional organizational and communication skills
• Ability to receive and provide constructive feedback and recognition
• High emotional intelligence, with the ability to work with and manage diverse teams
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Able to transport stock as required, including lifting cartons up to 25 lbs.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $23.00–$25.00 per hour.
