Director, Production Analytics

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

The Director, Production Analytics owns Production Analytics globally: every site, every product line, and every production function across Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, and Warehousing / Material Management.

This is a player-coach role. You will lead the hardest analytical problems yourself, on the programs that matter most to the company, and build a team that can run several more in parallel.

Responsibilities:

• Apply analytics to production’s biggest problems.
• Make the various business units in Anduril decide earlier.
• Turn what worked into the enterprise standard.
• Answer what it takes to scale.
• Build the team and the foundation.

Your work should produce numbers the business can trust.

Requirements:

• 10+ years in analytics, data, or quantitative operations, including 5+ years leading analytics or data teams.
• A rigorous, teachable approach to ambiguous problems.
• Genuinely hands-on.
• Demonstrated ability to identify the highest-value problem in a messy operational environment and solve it analytically.
• Experience shipping analytics as supported products with real users.
• Able to influence business unit and functional leadership peer-to-peer without authority.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.

Preferred qualifications:

• Operational depth in manufacturing, supply chain, or planning.
• Analytical ownership of a production ramp from low rate to high rate.
• Experience building an analytics function from a scattered starting point.
• Databricks and Palantir Foundry.
• High-rate or high-mix manufacturing, defense production, or another environment scaling volume fast.
