Description
We are seeking a Bank Host and Catering Assistant to join our team at Spire Regency Hospital in Macclesfield. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and delivery of high-quality food and beverage services to patients, visitors, consultants, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service to specified standards
- Serve food and beverages to staff, patients, consultants, and visitors in the restaurant and wards
- Engage with patients to raise awareness of food and beverage services tailored to their needs
- Take orders and adhere to special dietary requirements
- Maintain stock control through rotation, date checking, and packaging inspection
- Adhere to statutory regulations and health and safety procedures
- Perform general cleaning and washing up duties in the commercial kitchen
Requirements:
- Experience in a catering role
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Excellent customer care skills
- Ability to work without supervision
- Caring and sympathetic nature
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends

Working Hours:
- Shifts available across 7 days a week, 7am-3pm and 11am-7pm
- Bank/Zero hours contract
