Senior Engagement Manager - Germany

GitLab is seeking a Senior Engagement Manager to drive growth in Germany by structuring services engagements that create true partnership and shared success with customers.

As a Senior Professional Services Engagement Manager focused on Germany, you will play a critical role in designing, positioning, and closing outcome-oriented professional services engagements that translate complex DevSecOps and digital transformation initiatives into clear, measurable mission-critical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Build trusted advisor relationships with technical leaders and partners
• Conduct discovery sessions with prospects and Systems Integrators
• Design outcome-oriented services proposals
• Structure engagements and commercial proposals
• Develop custom-scoped SOWs and staffing plans
• Articulate GitLab's services value proposition
• Manage project- and account-level escalations
• Position consulting, training, success tiers, and additional solutions
• Facilitate solutioning sessions
• Drive measurable outcomes
• Own the engagement lifecycle
• Influence cross-functional teams
• Partner with regional sales and engagement leadership
• Foster a culture of enablement and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Demonstrated progressive experience structuring, scoping, and selling professional services engagements
• Proven success operating in a pre-sales context
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and cloud transformation initiatives
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly developed facilitation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Comfort working cross-functionally
• Capacity to work autonomously and asynchronously in a fully remote setting
