We're looking for a Facilities Technician to join our team. You'll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and facility PMs/inspections on building systems, troubleshooting basic electrical and plumbing issues, making repairs to facility and building systems, continuously refreshing office workspaces, managing facilities tickets, managing fleet vehicles, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and facility PMs/inspections on building systems
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical and plumbing issues
  • Make repairs to facility and building systems (plumbing, HVAC, electrical, doors, hardware, furniture, fixtures)
  • Continuously refresh office workspaces and handle general handyman tasks (drywall, paint, furniture build)
  • Manage facilities tickets
  • Manage fleet vehicles
  • Maintain high standards of safety and quality, including safety-related facility repairs

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of facilities, building maintenance, or related trade experience
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and a proactive mindset
  • Proficiency using mechanical and basic electrical hand tools
  • Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and general building systems
  • Familiar with using Asana or a ticketing system to prioritize and track tickets
  • Basic computer and email proficiency
  • Ability to stand 6-10 hours per day and lift up to 50lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in tight or elevated spaces
  • Strong communication skills for interfacing with employees, vendors, and stakeholders
  • Valid driver's license (for fleet management duties)

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Experience with the operation of fabrication equipment (mills, lathes, routers, CNC)
  • Comfortable pushing a fast but sustainable pace
  • Enthusiasm for boating and clean energy
