Chassis Technician

Multimatic Niche Vehicles North America is seeking a Chassis Technician to assemble the Ford Mustang GTD chassis. Reporting to a Senior Chassis Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly of the chassis and fitting body panels of the vehicle.

Responsibilities:

• Work safely and follow all safety procedures in an automotive assembly environment
• Build sub-assemblies following supplied manuals
• Perform structural bonding of major composite components
• Meticulously follow build manuals and quality control processes
• Fit and assemble carbon fiber components to tight tolerances
• Identify quality issues as they arise
• Solve problems as necessary
• Work comfortably in a dynamic team environment and provide positive feedback
• Adhere to set production work hours (Monday – Friday)
• Adhere to Multimatic’s quality-focused attitude and work culture

Training is provided as required.

Requirements:

• Be comfortable and competent using common hand and power tools
• Be able to read and interpret workshop manuals
• Be able to work with minimal supervision and instruction
• Experience in composite material construction is an asset
• Experience in light fabrication is an asset
• Experience in manufacturing environments is an asset

The total cash compensation range for this position is expected to be: $20.50 - $30.59
