Director, Product Management, ZIA

We are looking for a Director of Product Management, ZIA to join our team. This is a hybrid role, based in San Jose, CA, reporting to the VP, Product Management in the Product Management department.

You will lead Zscaler ZIA offerings including Zero Trust Firewall, DNS Security, IPS and new platform initiatives shaping the strategic direction of our ZIA and cybersecurity products and making a lasting impact on our global customer base.

Key responsibilities:

• Define and drive Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) offerings, including Zero Trust Firewall, DNS Security, IPS, and new platform initiatives
• Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success teams to bring products to market and ensure their success
• Engage directly with customers to understand their challenges, gather product feedback, and identify new opportunities
• Manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to end-of-life
• Act as the internal subject matter expert, providing training and support to sales and cross-functional teams

Requirements:

• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging, securing, or positioning AI-driven solutions
• Proven track record in product management with a strong focus on cybersecurity solutions
• Technical proficiency with Firewall, IPS, DNS, SSL/TLS inspection, Proxy Architecture, SWG, and HTTP/S at scale
• Deep understanding of SSE and SASE market landscape
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred qualifications:

• Proven ability to leverage AI technologies and workflows to drive measurable operational efficiency
• Experience leveraging AI/ML models to enhance automated malware detection, threat intelligence, or real-time security analytics
• Direct familiarity with cloud-based security solutions, specifically Zscaler's architecture and offerings
• Master’s degree or MBA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
