  • Develop system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses for integration within the vehicle
  • Collaborate closely with mechanical, thermal, software, systems, quality, and manufacturing teams
  • Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews throughout development
  • Perform root cause and failure analysis in support of ground test and field operations
  • Support vendor surveys and component sourcing to ensure performance, reliability, and supply chain viability

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools (LTSpice or equivalent)
  • Competence with lab test equipment
  • Familiarity with standard interfaces and common MCU/CPU/FPGA architectures
  • Experience designing for signal integrity and power integrity
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance, or DOE L/Q
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in defense, aerospace, UAS, missile, or maritime hardware development
  • Experience with propulsion electronics, fuzing, ordnance, or other safety-critical weapon systems electronics
  • Familiarity with MIL-STD-1316, MIL-STD-882E, MIL-STD-2105, or DoD Weapons Safety Board processes
  • Experience with MATLAB/Simulink for control loop modeling or system simulation
  • Familiarity with avionics design standards: DO-254, DO-178C, DO-160
  • Experience scaling electronics designs to production volume
