Senior Customer Engineer AI/ Start Up's

We're seeking a Senior Customer Engineer - AI & Start-Ups at Cloudflare, a company that values curiosity and AI-native solutions.

As a Senior Customer Engineer, you will work with innovative and cutting-edge companies, specifically startups and high-growth, cloud-native businesses. Your role involves technical discovery, translation, and evangelism, ensuring that customers build on Cloudflare rather than just consume a single service.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical discovery within the cloud-developer vertical
• Engage early and often with sales-led discovery calls and customer teams
• Identify and map customer initiatives and business problems to the Cloudflare platform
• Build relationships and technical champions within customer accounts
• Develop and present tailored technical content and demos
• Lead demo and proof-of-concept/build activities for Cloudflare prospects and customers
• Evangelize the Cloudflare Developer Platform

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Solutions Engineer or other customer-facing technical role
• A genuine "builder" mindset and personality
• Ability to speak engineers' language credibly
• Strong technical discovery instincts
• Comfort operating in an agile, fast-moving environment
• Solid communication, written and presentation skills

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Cloudflare Developer Platform (Workers, Durable Objects, Workers AI, R2, KV, D1, Vectorize, Queues, Pages)
• Understanding of AI/GenAI application patterns
• Knowledge of HTTP technologies, Internet security technologies, networking technologies, and zero-trust network access concepts
• Scripting or programming familiarity with languages like JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Golang

Salary: $213,500 – $335,500 OTE, Base + Commissions
