Legal Counsel (Cố Vấn Pháp Lý)

Job Summary: As a Legal Counsel at Prudential, you will provide legal advice and support to the business while keeping in mind the company's strategic and business objectives. You will collaborate with the Leader/Head of Legal to establish, disseminate, and implement legal policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support to the business while ensuring compliance with international and domestic laws, rules, and regulations.
• Collaborate with the Leader/Head of Legal to establish, disseminate, and implement legal policies.
• Complete legal tasks and projects in a timely manner and respond to legal queries assigned by the Leader/Head of Legal.
• Supervise and manage litigation or disputes between Prudential and its customers.
• Represent Prudential before courts, prosecutors, and police to resolve matters in the best interest of the company.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other legal documents to maximize legal protections and minimize legal risks.
• Stay up-to-date with new laws and regulations through continuous legal education and provide updates to Prudential's Management on new legislation and regulatory developments.
• Work closely with other members of the legal function and share legal knowledge and best practices with colleagues.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in law or higher.
• Seasoned experience as in-house or law firm counsel (5-7 years of experience).
• Industry knowledge and experience. Litigation experience is a plus.
• Strong language skills in English and Vietnamese. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Persuasive, problem-solving, generalization skills, and decisive.
• Ability to analyze complex issues, make sound judgments, and propose different solutions.
