Research Scientist, Battlespace Awareness

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to team direction with expertise and ideas
• Create mathematically principled solutions to challenging information science problems
• Prototype state-of-the-art algorithms in an agile development environment
• Implement high-performance software for tactical systems and web applications
• Use high-fidelity modeling and simulation environments to quantify technology benefits
• Engage with customers to ensure successful outcomes
• Communicate complex technology details effectively

Required Qualifications:

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Applied or Computational Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• Record of academic excellence with experience in applied mathematics, engineering, scientific computing, and probability
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret SCI security clearance
