Dual Service Officer

We are seeking a Dual Service Officer to join our team at Killingworth Shopping Centre.

As a Dual Service Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises in a busy shopping centre. You will also be responsible for day-to-day cleaning and housekeeping, and supporting the day-to-day supervision of the daily operations of the Centre.

Key responsibilities include:

• Carrying out daily cleaning within the Centre following PPM Schedules
• Ensuring efficient recycling and waste management
• Maintaining welfare facilities in good condition
• Liaising with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the Centre
• Cleaning car parks and emptying bin liners
• Conducting daily inspections of site streets, car parks, and public access areas
• Ensuring all Health & Safety checks are carried out
• Communicating and delivering Health and Safety practices and regulations
• Preventing, detecting, and investigating disturbances and offences on site
• Accurately reporting incidents and accidents
• Viewing and downloading recorded footage and maintaining multiple information feeds
• Dealing with individuals who act in an anti-social manner
• Responding to emergency situations
• Ensuring all contractors have a valid permit to work
• Performing reception duties
• Testing fire alarm systems
• Dealing with spillages or litter
• Taking responsibility for your own and others' health and safety
