Frontend Engineer, Ads

Reddit is seeking a skilled Frontend engineer with a product-focused mindset to join the Brand Ad Formats team.

The Brand Ad Formats team drives the development of ad formats that help advertisers maximize reach and brand impact. They focus on high-visibility, awareness-driven solutions that create memorable experiences for Reddit users.

Responsibilities:

• Build Ad experiences and create patterns for Reddit's web app that enhance ads' performance and functionality.
• Collaborate across product, design, and engineering teams to innovate and implement sophisticated solutions for complex challenges.
• Engage in the full development cycle: design, develop, QA, experiment, analyze, and deploy.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Web Engineering
• Proficient in Typescript and Javascript
• A willingness to tackle the challenges of creating data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant apps
• Experience with automated testing best practices, code quality/design patterns, observability, etc.
• Skilled at performing insightful code reviews, and receiving feedback themselves
• Experience leveraging GenAI tools to increase software engineering productivity
• Excellent communication skills: able to collaborate with teams in a fully remote environment, and discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on ad tech
• Experience working on consumer-facing sites (high production value at scale)
