CNC-Mechanic - Prototyping (Apprenticeship graduate)

Join the Audi Revolut F1 Team as a CNC Mechanic - Prototyping at our facility in Hinwil, Switzerland.

The Audi Revolut F1 Team is the official factory team of Audi, competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.

Your Mission

• Set up and oversee complex milled components, implementing process-relevant modifications independently.
• Continuously optimize milling processes with the internal CAM programming team.
• Manufacture demanding parts on state-of-the-art 5-axis machining centers with Heidenhain TNC640 control systems.
• Load and prioritize prototype, single, and small batch parts using the latest robot technology.
• Ensure component accuracy and monitor the complete production workflow.
• Coordinate the entire process from material ordering to quality control of workpieces.
• Optimize machine runtimes through operation in a regulated 2-shift system.

Your Profile

• Completed vocational training as a Polymechanic EFZ or comparable technical qualification.
• Initial experience in operating 5-axis machines.
• Knowledge of Heidenhain control systems, specifically TNC640, is advantageous.
• Strong quality awareness and highly independent, systematic, precise working methodology.
• Fluent German language skills; English language skills are an advantage.
