Description
We are seeking a Sr Bindery Operator to join our Target Enterprise Services (TES) organisation. As a Sr Bindery Operator, your primary function will be to set up and operate various equipment, achieving standard production rates and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Set up jobs and follow all ticket instructions to ensure jobs are completed correctly and on time
- Maintain or exceed all quality standards and adhere to operational, safety, and quality procedures
- Enter production data into our Monarch data collection system
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area
- Complete routine maintenance and troubleshoot/make simple repairs as necessary
- Provide training to other team members as requested by supervisor
- Work with leader to provide feedback upstream to improve production
- Help in other work areas if needed to support business needs
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Quality conscious
- Able to perform with minimal supervision
- Able to read, understand and follow job instructions
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to work 12 hour shifts and stand for long periods of time
- Minimum 5 years of experience operating equipment
