Description
We are seeking a Vice President to develop and implement observability solutions, overseeing tools and platforms that monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement observability solutions to monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and scalability
- Oversee development and maintenance of observability tools and platforms
- Create or enhance platform libraries and infrastructure to capture telemetry from Aladdin applications
- Design or enhance dashboards and alerts for monitoring and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, SRE, and client support
- Work with development teams to remove roadblocks and improve observability implementations
- Partner with observability vendors to evaluate new features and maintain existing services
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Five years of experience in software engineering in an enterprise environment, with expertise in Java, Python, Go, Kubernetes, Azure Cloud, AWS, CI/CD tools, observability platforms, and data platforms
- Four years of experience with OpenTelemetry agents and collector, TraceQL and LogQL, and data platforms including Snowflake
