Jr Full stack Web development Engineer

As a Jr Full stack Web development Engineer at Ford, you will collaborate with architects, anchors, and other product teams to understand the relationship between various aspects of corporate sites and eCommerce platforms. You will work hands-on with team members to resolve questions, clarify designs, and deliver products.

Responsibilities

• Develop software that delivers user stories contributing to valuable working software for Ford and Lincoln brand sites products.
• Develop unit tests with working software to confirm software functionality according to functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop functional tests to confirm user story acceptance and detect regression defects.
• Collaborate directly and continuously with Product Managers and Product Owners to prioritize deliverables geared towards a business and user value-driven approach with a continuous improvement and innovative mindset.
• Participate in highly collaborative practices, including:
• Agentic Development
• Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD)
• Security practices (SAST/DAST)
• Use of monitoring, logging, and tracing tools (Dynatrace, etc.)
• Engage in Agile practices, including Stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and journey mapping.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in React/Spring Boot
• 2 years of experience in web development
• Good understanding of code versioning tools and techniques, and automated build/release solutions
• Good understanding of design and Agile processes, culture, best practices, and techniques
• Fluent English

Preferred qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an AEM/AEM Cloud developer and frontend web technologies
• Experience with mobile accessibility
• Experience with microservices, content fragments/experience fragments
• Experience using AI agents
