Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Linguistic QA Tester with native speaker fluency in Swedish to join our team in Portland, OR. As a Linguistic QA Tester, you will play a crucial role in the QA testing process for emerging technology, working on various projects such as testing apps, e-courses, marketing materials, and more.
Responsibilities include:
- Testing new technology and providing feedback
- Evaluating linguistic quality and accuracy
- Collaborating with the testing team to identify and report bugs
Requirements:
- Native-level fluency in Swedish (ILR Level 5 or CEF C2)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Up-to-date awareness of current technical language usage in Swedish
- Strong practical knowledge of computers and mobile devices
- Ability to follow written testing instructions in English
- Localization QA experience is preferred
- Knowledge of common technological terms in English and/or Swedish
- Valid authorization to work in the US
- Ability to work onsite in our Portland office
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $22.50-$22.50 per hour, and a part-time schedule from Wednesday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with flexibility to adapt to changing project needs.
