At Canva, we're looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our team in Sydney. This role is based in our flagship Sydney campus, a thoughtfully designed space that encourages collaboration, focus, and connection.
As a Finance Business Partner, you will partner with senior business leaders to steer Canva's future. You will leverage data, financial insights, and business context to shape strategic planning, execution, and efficiency. Your goal will be to deliver insights that help leaders understand and influence the growth drivers in their groups.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business leaders to understand historical performance, headwinds, and tailwinds to chart a path forward and achieve financial goals.
- Collaborate with the broader FP&A and Finance team to drive financial excellence.
- Develop and integrate precise, driver-based forecasts that closely align with execution.
- Build and embed reporting processes that provide the right information at the right time.
- Establish business case and trade-off rigour that ensure efficient capital allocation and investment decision making.
- Proactively identify risks and opportunities, inspiring action.
Requirements:
- Experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, Commercial Finance, in-house business strategy & operations, or consulting roles at large organisations.
- Ability to skilfully connect company objectives, business strategy, and financial models.
- Experience conducting quantitative/financial analysis, developing recommendations, and communicating insights to stakeholders.
- Commercial acumen to ensure decisions are sound and rigorously tested.
