Experience Designer II - EA SPORTS FC

The Role: As an Experience Designer on EA SPORTS FC Ultimate Team, you'll collaborate with fellow designers, game designers, producers, researchers, art directors, and engineers to design across multiple layers of the player experience. You'll combine strong visual design craft and creative thinking with a solid understanding of UX principles, game systems, and player needs.

Responsibilities:

• Create compelling visual and interactive design solutions using the FC Design System
• Translate UX flows, game design requirements, and player needs into intuitive, visually engaging, and cohesive player experiences
• Explore creative visual directions and develop high-quality UI concepts
• Collaborate with Design System owners and fellow designers to maintain consistency and quality
• Work closely with Experience Designers, Game Designers, Producers, Researchers, Art Directors, and Engineers to bring features from concept to delivery

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in UI, visual, experience design across games, entertainment, or digital products
• A strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual craft, creative exploration, and the ability to connect form and function into intuitive, engaging, and polished player experiences
• Strong visual design skills across UI, typography, layout, composition, and visual storytelling
• Solid understanding of core UX principles, including user flows, information hierarchy, interaction patterns, and player-centred design

Nice to have:

• Motion design and animation experience
• Experience with 3D design tools
• Experience designing and implementing UI within game engines
• Familiarity with expressive UI, and modern game interface design
• Understanding of game development pipelines and cross-disciplinary production workflows
