We are looking for an Intermediate Developer to join the Device Trust team and help improve the reliability and operational excellence of the systems behind the Device Trust authentication service.
Device Trust authentication is an important component of our customers' authentication flows, helping organizations make device posture part of their access decisions. Because it sits directly in that path, reliability is a first-class engineering concern.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in software development, experience working with backend services, APIs, distributed systems, and familiarity with Ruby on Rails.
Responsibilities include:
- Building and improving the services that power Device Trust
- Improving the reliability, observability, and operability of production systems
- Working across application code, service dependencies, cloud infrastructure, networking, deployment systems, and operational tooling
- Helping establish safer ways to make and validate changes to critical systems
- Participating in incident response and post-incident learning
