Race Logistics Manager

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive individual to join our team as a Race Logistics Manager. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and executing the logistics of our racing events, training camps, and team activities.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute logistics for assigned races, training camps, and team events, including travel arrangements, accommodation, transportation, accreditation, and timing
• Coordinate with event organisers and stakeholders to ensure compliance with UCI guidelines
• Manage travel itineraries, including flights, hotels, and transportation for team members and athletes
• Develop and implement comprehensive travel plans, including equipment transport and accommodation arrangements
• Identify and mitigate logistical challenges to ensure smooth event execution
• Work independently and make decisions under pressure to ensure operational continuity

Requirements:

• Experience in logistics management, preferably in sports or events
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Strong organisational and planning abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to unexpected challenges
• Experience with budget management and cost-conscious planning
• Passion for cycling and knowledge of professional cycling standards
• Familiarity with administration of a professional cycling team is an advantage
• High level of independence and decision-making authority
• Willingness to work regular weekends
• Travel requirement: 20-30%
